These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to bookings made through this website for tours and services provided by Roma Star Bike S.r.l. (“Roma Star Bike”, “we”, “us”). By making a booking, you confirm you have read and accepted these Terms.

2. What We Provide
We offer guided tours and related experiences (including bike tours, golf cart tours, and rentals where applicable). The specific itinerary, inclusions, meeting point, and timing are described on the product page and/or in your booking confirmation.
3. Booking Confirmation & Contract Formation
A booking is considered final and contractually confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. The meeting point is always specified in the confirmation email.
4. Payments & Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by third-party providers Bókun and Stripe. The available payment methods may include: Mastercard, Visa, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
5. Changes to Bookings
If you need to change your booking (date/time/participants), contact us as soon as possible at info@romastarbike.com. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
We may make reasonable changes to itineraries or timing due to operational needs, safety, weather, or access restrictions. If a significant change is required, we will propose an alternative solution.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
6.1 Bike Tours & Rentals
You may cancel up to 24 hours before departure by contacting info@romastarbike.com. Eligible cancellations receive a 96% refund. The remaining 4% is retained as an administrative fee.
6.2 Golf Cart / Car Tours
You may cancel up to 48 hours before departure. Eligible cancellations receive a 96% refund (administrative fee retained).
6.3 No-Shows
If you do not arrive within the grace period described below and are considered a no-show, the booking is non-refundable (0% refund).
6.4 Late Arrival (Grace Period)
All customers (private and group) have a 15-minute grace period from the scheduled start time. After 15 minutes, you may be considered a no-show, and the tour may depart or be cancelled at our discretion.

7. Weather Policy
Tours operate in most weather conditions. In cases of rain, extreme heat, or other conditions that materially affect safety or quality, we will propose one of the following at our discretion:
- A free rebooking to a different day (subject to availability).
- A different tour option intended to satisfy the customer, or
8. Force Majeure
In case of events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, closures, severe weather, safety issues, or government restrictions) that prevent the tour from operating, we will provide a refund or an alternative option where feasible.
9. Participation Requirements, Safety & Responsibility
Customers must be in reasonable physical condition suitable for the booked activity. You are responsible for assessing your own ability and participating safely.
9.1 Minors & Child Seats / Trailer Bike
- No minimum age is required to join, but the activity must be appropriate for the participant.
- Trailer bike: rider must be under 135 cm.
- Infants may ride only if under 20 kg (using appropriate equipment).
9.2 Rules During Tours
- Follow your guide’s safety instructions at all times.
- Respect traffic rules and local regulations.
- We may refuse participation or remove a participant for unsafe or disruptive behavior.
9.3 Helmets & Insurance
We maintain insurance coverage for our operations. Customers may be asked to sign a participation waiver/contract. This contract helps protect Roma Star Bike and clarifies participant responsibilities.
10. Damage, Loss, and Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for any damage caused to persons or property resulting from the circulation and use of equipment. Personal belongings are the customer’s responsibility.
In the event of theft or irreparable damage to a vehicle or equipment, the customer may be required to reimburse an amount corresponding to the wholesale value of the stolen/damaged item. For partial, repairable damage, the customer may be required to cover repair costs as assessed by Roma Star Bike or an authorized repairer.
11. Third-Party Services
Tours may involve third-party services (e.g., ticketing providers, attractions, or booking/payment services). Roma Star Bike is not responsible for disruptions caused by third parties, but we will support customers where possible.

Where applicable, you may also be able to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
